Perancangan Meja Workshop Kayu untuk Pembelajaran Studio Praktik Bengkel Mahasiswa dengan Pendekatan Ergonomi

Dalam perkuliahan praktik mahasiswa desain produk industri diharapkan dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan, yang mana efisiensi dalam prosedur praktik menjadi sebuah penilaian penting. Mahasiswa mempelajari praktik pembuatan produk berbasis kayu masih dalam tingkatan pemula, sehingga kualitas peralatan penunjang di dalam laboratorium workshop harus lebih diperhatikan. Meja workshop menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mahasiswa dalam memproduksi sebuah produk khususnya dengan menggunakan material kayu sebagai tahap awal pembelajaran. Meja workshop harus dirancang dengan mengoptimalkan pergerakan serta sirkulasi kerja dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi pekerjaan. Perancangan meja workshop workshop kayu ini menggunakan metode Human Centered Design dengan pendekatan ergonomi yang menekankan pada fitur fungsi pada meja, dimensi ukuran meja serta daya jangkau pengguna. Dalam tahap perancangan akan dilakukan pengukuran secara antropometri terhadap pengguna yang dilakukan kepada mahasiswa. Perancangan meja workshop kayu ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi mahasiswa desain produk industri dalam membuat produk berbasis material kayu. Hasil perancangan yang didapatkan akan diuji coba dalam proses pembelajaran praktik workshop oleh mahasiswa desain produk industri untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dalam membuat produk berbasis kayu.
